PolyVision eno wireless whiteboards use HD camera technology. The board itself is solid vitreous enamel steel board which is guaranteed by PolyVision for 25 years. The board has a magnetic strip (which has symbols for print, save, annotate etc.) which can be placed down the side of the whiteboard or along the top or bottom (even hold it in your hand if you prefer). A high definition camera in the pen picks up where the dots are on the magnetic strip and feeds back the information to the computer. The pen on the board is pin-point accurate. Dots on the magnetic strip are 600 dots per square inch. The pen primarily acts as a mount, but when you use the pen in annotation mode, it becomes a pen and you can write on the board with it. As the board itself is a steel board, you can use dry wipe markers which erase easily without leaving marks on the board. So if your projector goes down for any reason, you can still teach using a dry-wipe marker.

PolyVision eno uses Qwizdom software which is open architecture software, which means you can use any program on your computer. This is an advantage in a large school, where change over of staff in different rooms is common.
